The Oggi Italian Restaurant
Located on Davis Island in Tampa, Oggi Italian is a delicious rustic tavern-style Italian restaurant that is great for a date night, group dinner, and everything in between. We went to Oggi for my birthday and it was a hit with the whole dining party. I hadn’t been to any of the Davis Island restaurants before this one. I am so glad that this restaurant caught my eye when I searched for available reservations for January 1. It was some of the best Italian food I’ve had in Tampa thus far. With sizable portions, a robust menu, and delightful desserts, Oggi is ideal for a date night or group celebration.
My Favorites from Oggi
For my first visit to this restaurant, I opted for the eggplant Parmesan, which was absolutely fantastic. With crisp fried eggplant and a delicious red sauce over angel hair pasta, it was exactly what I wanted to celebrate my birthday with!
Plus, each pasta dish comes with an after-dinner espresso, which was a lovely touch. We finished off dinner with a couple cannoli, tiramisu, and a unique pineapple dessert for the table. In my experience, Oggi definitely has the best tiramisu in Tampa!
Reservations Recommended
Since my first visit to the restaurant, I’ve been a handful of times and made reservations for each visit. I definitely recommend making reservations, since it’s a smaller restaurant and fills up quickly! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s been pretty busy each time, regardless of how early or late we stopped by.
