I’ve had my pair of Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge sandals for a few months now and they’ve become a staple of my wardrobe. Ideal for an elevated casual, or even a dressy look, the Mirjana Wedge 80 is a comfortable shoe, thoughtfully designed and built for daily life. Styling the Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge
I’ve worn the Mirjana Wedge with a handful of outfits, from a casual date night sundress to a long linen maxi dress for a summer wedding. Recently, I paired the wedges with one of Hill House’s summer capsule collection dresses, the Daphne. The Daphne style, pictured here in their Midnight Garden Cotton pattern, is such a fun dress to wear.
A Rich Brown for Summer to Fall
My Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge sandals are the Saddle Vachetta & Raffia motif, which is a lovely rich camel brown. As a Floridian, I find that the colors are actually really great for a transitional wardrobe. We haven’t yet had any kind of cold front here in Tampa. However, I find that the wedges really bridge the gap between summer and fall through color.
Besides the Saddle Vachetta & Raffia color, the Sarah Flint Mijana Wedge is also available in a blush Petal Calf color as well as a Bright Gold Nappa & Metallic Raffia motif.
Sizing for the Sarah Flint Mirjana Wedge
As I mention in my original review of the shoes, the Sarah Flint website has a robust sizing tool to help you find your perfect size. To be honest, I was a little wary of this system at first. I find shoes to be difficult to size, especially when you’ve not tried a particular brand or style. However, I was delighted to see that the IT 39 (U.S. 8.5) fit perfectly straight away.
With a little extra space in the back, the toe box feels secure but not tight. Further, the ankle strap has plenty of space for adjustment as needed. With wear, they have stretched out a bit, but not enough to have merited sizing down.
