The New Uproot Clean Deshedder Review
The Uproot Clean Deshedder Tool is a must-have for any pet parent, regardless of coat length or type. Dogs and cats alike will benefit from this brush, and I can’t speak highly enough of it! I recently received one of the wire brushes to try on my short haired cats. It has already made a huge difference in our house. The Uproot Clean Deshedder features dual-edge blade designed to break up and remove stubborn mats and tangles, but is gentle on your pet’s skin. Unlike other brushes we’ve tried in the past, this one easily tames shedding season for my cats. Plus, all three are quite comfortable being brushed with the new tool. How the Deshedder Works
Designed for all kinds of coats — long to short, double to wiry — Uproot Clean’s Deshedder is a one-size-fits-all pet brush. There are two angles on the had of the brush, each serving a different purpose. The 9-blade side is essentially a right angle, designed to be used first to detangle and demat your pet’s fur. The second side, featuring 17 acute blades, is designed to comfortably deshed the coat. With an ergonomic grip, the Deshedder is easy and comfortable to use as a cat hair remover tool, as it works to clear out loose fur quickly and easily.
Using the Deshedder from Uproot Clean
Since Olivia loves to be brushed, I knew I had to try this new tool with my cats. Somehow, despite regular brushing, Olivia sheds more than any of the long haired animals I’ve known in my life. This season, her coat has been relentless, with little gray tufts of fur following her wherever she goes. So, I was eager to give the Deshedder a try on her!
Testing the Deshedder on Olivia
The Uproot Clean Deshedder tool works some kind of miracle on Olivia’s coat! It is gentle on her, without the sharp bristles that many pet brushes come with, and combs through her coat with ease.
It pulls off the already-loose fur and keeps it pretty well contained to the little wire comb, making clean up easy. Some tufts of fur escape and flew out and about the room. However, the Deshedder Tool holds the bulk of the loose fur until you collect it to throw away.
Olivia even gave it her highest seal of approval by chewing a bit on it and then using it for chin scratches!
