Fall Style and Fashion
As much as I rely on shorts and t-shirts, I really love sweaters and fall styles. We don’t have a ton of sweater weather in Florida, but I find ways to make it work. Besides sweaters, though, I just love the deeper, richer colors that are often associated with fall clothing lines. When I went shopping the other day to check out some of the newer fall clothing pieces that are coming out, I found a number of great pieces. Here are the early fall style finds that caught my eye:
Early Fall Style Finds
Kent Cardigan Sweater from Madewell
This sweater has it all. It’s green, oversized, and has pockets. What more could you ask for?
Northside Long Sleeve Vintage Tee in Driggs Stripe from Madewell
This simple long-sleeve top is another great Madewell find. The pictured color is called Dried Olive Waterloo Stripe. With olive green stripes and a subtle blue pop, this would be a wardrobe staple for me.
Whisper Cotton Stripe Ringer Tee from Madewell
Madewell is killig it with the collar details. This tee is pictured in the Haystack Pie Stripe color. I found this tee to be lightweight, neutral, and great for layering.
Love Crewneck Graphic Tee from Rag & Bone
Rag & Bone tees, while kind of on the pricier side, are so comfortable and flattering, especially for petite frames. This vintage-looking t-shirt would be great with jeans throughout the fall.
Paulette Floral-Print Pintucked Blouse from LoveShackFancy
This is not a super fall-related piece, but it caught my eye while I was out so I decided to include it. I loved the pleated detailing and the super subtle peplum kind of style at the bottom. How great would this blouse be with a pair of dark jeans and boots?
SAFIIYA Short sleeved striped midi dress from Ted Baker
If you’re looking for rich fall colors, this Ted Baker dress has it all. Dress it up or down, and it’ll carry you through the season!
Mini Lorimer Leather Backpack from Madewell
I love a Madewell bag, and this backpack is no exception. This little backpack would be ideal year round, really. I love this rich brown color — such a great neutral! It’s also available in black, though, if you’d rather a darker option.
Zodiac Graphic Tee from Topshop
This Topshop tee looked a lot more cropped in person than it does online, and I’m regretting not trying it on. Simple and cute, this tee offers a little bit of a pop as compared to a plain white top, without being too loud.
Pumpkin Spice Graphic Tee from SUB_URBAN RIOT
Who doesn’t love PSL? Like the Zodiac Tee from Topshop, this graphic tee is simple but playful. Imagine wearing it with a cute skirt, tights, and some of your favorite boots while sipping a pumpkin spice latte, absolutely living your best life.
Love More Graphic Tee from Cinq à Sept
There really are a ton of great new graphic tees coming out this season, like this Love More option. Cinq à Sept, besides designing beautiful dresses and unique separates, always has fun t-shirts available. Some are in English, like this one, while others are in French. I love the simple style of this top with the block, slightly-distressed letters.
Mock Neck Sweater from Topshop
When I think sweater weather, this sweater is pretty much what comes to mind: an oversized and cozy knit. I love this oat color, but the sweater comes in a few options online, including black and mustard.
Tie Sleeve Button Front Blouse from Socialite
This tie-sleeved blouse is simple but not boring. I love the bits of detail, including the eponymous ties and the little buttons down the front. Pair it with a pair of your favorite jeans or dress pants and you’re good to go.
Smocked Waist Floral Top from Good Luck Gem
I love a subtle peasant-top. This top has a flattering neckline, cinched-but-not-oppressive waist, and slightly oversized sleeves. Basically, I’d wear this day in and day out this season, especially with this rich color motif.
Short Sleeve Plaid Shirt from Treasure & Bond
I love a good comfy plaid (see, e.g., my favorite Frank & Eileen tartan blouse here), and this top from one of my favorite Nordstrom’s house labels is checking all the right boxes for me. It features an oversized, effortless silhouette with a soft, free-flowing fabric that won’t make you feel boxy.
Skye Crocodile Crossbody Bag from Topshop
Last but not least: this adorable little Topshop bag. I love green, so I had to include it. Simple and small, this bag is great for an evening out, but it also has enough space to actually carry the necessities. It’s available in the pictured green as well as black.
