The leaves are (theoretically) changing color, pumpkins are popping up everywhere, and Halloween is just around the corner. It’s time to start thinking about creating an autumnal and cozy atmosphere (or spooky for trick-or-treating!) and other fun festivities! Here, I’m sharing the best fall decor ideas for your home:

While it’s not always practical to get a full service set of seasonal kitchenware or serving plates, I’ve found a number of great pieces that stand alone. The Le Creuset Stoneware Pumpkin Brasier, for example, is decorative, functional, and subtle. Leave it on the counter between uses to add a hint of pumpkin to the area. Similarly, something like this little pinch bowl, these serving boards, or these marble coasters could be a great coffee table addition! Try pairing these with these pumpkin spice churros I’ve been craving!

I wanted to share a few favorite coffee mug picks, as fall is the season of all things cozy and comfy. These mugs could easily be filed under the “cozy fall decor” section, especially these cute pumpkin mugs and this simple Sweater Weather Coffee Mug (my favorite!).
Bring Out The Autumn Colors
Create an immersive fall home scene with earthy, autumnal colors. From rich woods to jewel tones, fall is the season of falling leaves, blue skies, and the last bits of evergreen until winter. You might think that adding pumpkins to your living room would be a bit too much, but there’s no reason why you can’t add them to your space. They make a nice addition to any room, especially when you use them as centerpieces.

Beyond doormats, though, I love to accessorize the home with wreaths. Even when I was in an apartment, I typically had seasonal wreaths I would put out. If you’re feeling crafty, you can make your own, which is always fun.
