My Bachelorette Weekend in St. Pete
In the summer ahead of my wedding, my bridesmaids and close friends joined me for a bachelorette weekend in St. Pete. St. Pete, Florida, is a great spot for a girls weekend in general, and there were so many great options when it came to bachelorette planning. Without too much trouble, you can fit in great food, wonderful spa treatments, wine bars, book shopping, and pretty much anything else the bride might want!
Here, I’m sharing the details of my Bachelorette Weekend in St. Pete, Florida, and highlighting my favorite parts of each. At the end, I’ll share some of the other great options you can incorporate into your own St. Pete Bachelorette Weekend!

The Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary
We all met up at the Airbnb late-afternoon Friday. Traffic from Tampa to the downtown St. Pete area wasn’t bad and we all made good time. We set up a delicious charcuterie board spread and had snacks at the Airbnb for the periods of downtime throughout the weekend, which was a very good call.
Dinner Friday Night: Good Fortune
Good Fortune had originally been on the short list for our Saturday night dinner, but we wanted to go somewhere fancier for Saturday. However, it worked out because Good Fortune was the perfect spot for a Friday night dinner to kick off the weekend!
We had reservations for 7:15 and Ubered to the restaurant from our Airbnb. Parking is tough in this area of St. Pete, so Ubering is recommended. The restaurant itself is kind of hidden away, aside from a fun cherry blossom inspired entryway announcing its presence. Inside, the restaurant is a delightful cacophony of neon, pink, and street-style wall art. It wasn’t too busy when we got there at 7:15, but it filled up fast after that!
Being the cat lover I am, I opted for the Pretty Kitty cocktail and Hello Kitty sushi roll. I picked the Pretty Kitty 100% because of the name, and I was confused when the waitress kept my ID and returned everyone else’s. Turns out, the Pretty Kitty cocktail comes in an adorable cat mug, and you get your ID back after you give the mug back. Believe me, if there was an option to buy the mug, I would have. It was so cute! The drink was good, too, but really…the mug made it.

The Hello Kitty sushi roll featured tempura salmon, osinko, cucumber, and avocado — some of my favorites — in a pink-dyed soy paper, to highlight the Hello Kitty theme. It was topped with eel sauce, yummy sauce, and the perfect amount of sriracha. Totally delicious and a good size sushi roll!
For desserts, we split the Good Fortune Cookie and a few girls got the Ube Cake. While the sushi serving sizes certainly weren’t small, they paled in comparison to the dessert portions. Sure, the Good Fortune Cookie said it was “giant” but we underestimated just how giant it was! Similarly, the Ube Cake pieces were huge! We all got to try a bit of each, and I enjoyed them both!

Saturday Morning Coffee from Intermezzo

With how the timing worked out, a couple of my bridesmaids drove over to Intermezzo to pick up coffee while the rest of us started getting ready for brunch on Saturday morning.
While I definitely still want to see the cafe for myself, I am so glad that this set up worked out and that we got to try Intermezzo’s renowned Honey Lavender Latte. This latte features espresso, local honey, lavender, and bee pollen, with your choice of milk. I got mine iced with oat milk and it was amazing!
Brunch Saturday Morning: Social Roost
After coffees at the Airbnb, we were off to Social Roost for a proper Saturday morning brunch. The restaurant just so happened to feature two of my wedding colors — green (my favorite color) and gold — and was an all-around fun space to hang out for the morning.
A few of us opted for mimosas and the like to start brunch off. I had a peach Bellini of sorts, with pretty flower petals decorating the top. They also served Kahwa coffee, one of my favorite local coffee roasters!
After drinks were sorted out, it took a while to narrow down what we all wanted from the brunch menu. There were a lot of great options, from traditional breakfast items like pancakes and French toast to more unusual options, like their Roost Brekkie Board and the Green Eggs and Ham sandwich. Ultimately, I opted for the Mushroom Frittata (pictured below), featuring shiitake, cremini, goat cheese, and scallion. It was delicious, and the perfect way to start the day!

We hung out here for a bit ahead of our spa appointments, and someone sent us a bottle of sparkling rosé with an actual sparkler on it! There was some confusion amongst us and the waiters as to where it came from, but we were grateful for it, however it arrived.

Spa Day: Massages at the Woodhouse Spa
After brunch, we walked over to the Woodhouse Spa, just a few blocks away. My Maid of Honor had set up our spa services ahead of time, and we all chose from their robust massage menu. I opted for the Tranquil Stone Massage, which I would happily book again in a minute!
The Woodhouse Spa was a lovely oasis, quiet, cool, and soothing after getting out of the hot St. Pete sun. We were provided lockers and fluffy robes to change into and quickly swept into our individual massage rooms. I didn’t take any photos here, but you can see a bit of what the space looks like on the St. Pete location’s Instagram here.
My 50 minute Tranquil Stone Massage was fantastic, and my skin still feels smooth and moisturized from the mix of the stone and lotion they used. This style massage is a full-body Swedish massage that incorporated heated, soothing stones to increase circulation, which promised to create deep relaxation and a renewed sense of balance. In all, I think it succeeded in its goals there! The massage was the perfect mix of relaxing and restorative, reducing the ever-present tension in my back and neck (my trouble spots) while helping me to relax all over.
Some of the other bridesmaids opted for the Body Balance Massage, a take on the classic Swedish massage, and one opted for the Deep Tissue Transformation. Everyone enjoyed their 50 minute massages!
Woodhouse Spa is a chain with a handful of locations, so even if you aren’t in the St. Pete area, definitely look them up! Learn more about the Woodhouse Spa in St. Pete from their website here.
A Stop at Book + Bottle: Part Wine Bar, Part Book Shop
Book + Bottle has been on my St. Pete to-do list basically since I moved to Tampa in 2021. So, I was thrilled when we were able to add it to my St. Pete. bachelorette weekend itinerary! We stopped in to this book-store-slash-wine-shop after our lovely massages. Being so mellow and zen after a great brunch and massage, then wandering a bookstore with a glass of crisp rose…? I mean, does it get better!?

Anyway, Book + Bottle is adorable, and they have a great range of both books and drinks to offer. If you prefer coffee and tea, they had a great menu for those options as well, and I am sure I’ll be back to sample those soon.
In all, I convinced a friend of mine to pick up my latest favorite Emily Henry book, talked to a stranger about our love of ACOTAR, and bought a whole bunch of books (as you can see here). If you’re a book lover in the area, definitely stop in to Book + Bottle!

P.S. if you’re looking for another great book store in the area, be sure to check out Tombolo Books! Tombolo is another great stop for book lovers, and they have a coffee shop next door.
Dinner Saturday Night: Sea Salt
As a pescatarian, I was almost overwhelmed by the menu at Sea Salt! This light and airy seafood restaurant has it all, from an oyster sommelier to the best seafood pasta dish I’ve ever had.

I opted for the Seafood Cavatelli for dinner (third image below), which featured Maine lobster, shrimp, and a tomato mascarpone sauce. It was a creamy sauce but still so light! It was absolutely delicious. A number of my friends chose the Day Boat Scallops, also a great choice. These came with truffled corn, pickled shallots, wasabi peas, and truffle sea salt. I highly recommend getting an order of the Candied Garlic Whipped Potatoes; they were a good size and had some of the most delicious garlic cloves!

Side Note: I did not do a very good job of taking photos during my Bachelorette Weekend — we were too busy having fun! However, I did snap a picture of my outfit for dinner out Saturday night!
I was very happy with my Hill House dress and Sarah Flint wedges! Perfect for the balmy St. Pete weather.

Brunch Sunday Morning: Cassis
For brunch on Sunday before we all went our separate ways, we stopped at Cassis in downtown St. Pete for a bite to eat. The restaurant was kind of busy and there were some issues in the kitchen, so I think we’ll have to give them a re-do at some point. However, I wanted to note that Cassis offers an artisan bread and pastry basket called Le Panier which is absolute something you should order with your friends at your next brunch! The basket came with an assortment of the restaurant’s best pastries, including various croissants, Danishes, and cinnamon rolls. Totally delightful!

My Favorite Spots During My St. Pete Bachelorette Weekend
When picking favorites from my St. Pete Bachelorette Weekend trip, the Woodhouse Spa and Book + Bottle top my list as what stands out the most. These were such fun, unique experiences for the weekend, and I am so glad we got the chance to have all three in our trip!
As for food, I really loved Good Fortune — both because of the cat-themed items, but also because the food was delicious and there is so much on their menu I still want to try. Similarly, I want to go back to Sea Salt and try some more of their seafood dishes, like the Crab Crusted Grouper or Salmon Livornese.
