Green Home Decorations
As my favorite color, I’m always looking for great green decorations for the home. Our house is a mix of blues and greens, which conveniently compliment one another. There are lots of different ways to incorporate green into your home decor, just as there are so many greens to pick from. I personally lean towards emerald green home decor pieces, as evidenced by my office. However, I’m in no way opposed to lighter or different shades! Here, I’m sharing some green decorations that have caught my eye lately:
Green Home Decor Finds
While it can sometimes be a little tough to find home decor in green, there are still plenty of designers and stores that are embracing this rich earthy color. There is no shortage of green decorative pillows, for example, or smaller trinkets like frames and candle holders. While these smaller pieces are definitely on my radar, I am also always keeping an eye out for bigger, bolder home items, too!
Green Decor Ideas
When looking for home decor in green, West Elm and Anthropologie tend to be my first stops. Both of these brands have great greens in their collections. West Elm tends to offer rich emerald and blue-based greens, like the Lyngby Green Porcelain Vases (similar style here) in the bottom right of the image below. Anthropologie, on the other hand, tends to range from softer greens, like with the Simone Task Lamp and Whitney Frame, to true emeralds, like the Abeille Curtain.
Top Row: Textured Green Lamp | Simone Task Lamp | Painted Peonies Emerald Art Print | Agate Stone Bookends
Bottom Row: Whitney Frame | Abeille Curtain | Absida Sage Rug | Lyngby Green Porcelain Vases (similar style here)
Rifle Paper Co. is another great store to turn to for greens — or any bolder color, really. Their Painted Peonies print is a great green wall art option, and available in a variety of sizes. For richer emeralds and greens from the brand, I highly recommend checking out Rifle Paper Co.’s new Peacock motif!
Last but not least, Ruggable makes it so easy to find great greens, like the Absida Sage Washable Rug in the bottom row. After shopping by size, Ruggable has a dedicated “shop by color” page, and plenty of green washable rugs to choose from!
Which of these green pieces is your favorite?
I am completely coveting the Simone Task Lamp and Abeille Curtains from Anthropologie. So luxurious, right!?

That lamp is really cute. My bedroom is in green and so are the curtains but I hate the curtains. They are the only green curtains I could find at the time (6 years ago or more) and needed to be black out curtains because my husband worked night shift. It just looks like a dingy green to me and not the earthy forestry look I want in the room.
Blackout curtains haven’t really come up with a good green as far as I can tell, unfortunately. We were looking for some, as well, for our living room. All were either really bright light green or dingy, like you said. It seems like you have to get traditional ones if you want a nice rich or earthy green. The green curtains here seem like they’re almost black out curtains, without being officially black out, because of the fabric. Maybe in the next few years they’ll come out with more colors!!
Loving these various shades of green! In particular the lighter, paler greens.
Thank you!! I love both ranges. The lighter greens are definitely very soothing, don’t you think?!
Great post! Thanks for sharing!
So glad you enjoyed it!!
