Spotlight on Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream

Why I Love a Vitamin C Product

Vitamin C has been a favorite feature of my skincare collection for a while now, and it’s a key ingredient in Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream. I have found that using Vitamin C products really helps boost general skin health, particularly after an acne breakout. Vitamin C is typically good for most skin types and tends to promote brightening as well as healing of hyperpigmentation, among other benefits. Who doesn’t love that?

Currently, Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream is my absolute favorite Vitamin C skincare product. While the C.E.O. cream is a little expensive — about $65 for a larger tub, depending where you buy it — I find that a little goes a long way with this stuff.

The first thing I noticed with this cream was the scent. Typically, I’m wary of products that smell particularly fragrant, because my skin tends to react badly to fragrances. However, the sweet orange scent has never been an issue for me with the C.E.O. Cream.

Beyond the lovely scent, the cream really lives up to its name — it is rich. The best part about this richness, though, is that it not sticky. While the cream has a bit of tack to it, it’s not unbearable in the least, and I have found it dries rather nicely on the skin.

How I Use the C.E.O. Cream

As the C.E.O. Cream is a rich blend, I prefer to use it at night before bed, as opposed to before I put makeup on in the mornings. While it dries nicely, I do think it’d be pretty heavy under makeup.

So, after I cleanse and tone at night, I’ll use this Sunday Riley moisturizer about three or four times a week. If my skin needs a little extra healing, I may use it more often.

Besides putting this cream on my face, I love to use it on my neck and chest as well. It spreads pretty well, so I rarely even add more to my hands after moisturizing my face with it, and simply press what is left on my hands into my neck and chest. On dryer days, I may add a bit more to my hands before doing so.

Where to Buy Sunday Riley’s C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream

Lately, I’ve been finding some great deals on skincare products at department stores. My latest jar of the C.E.O. Cream is from Neiman Marcus, a store I love to shop at anyway, but was propelled towards thanks to a 10% cash back deal on Rakuten.

This Sunday Riley product can also be found at Sephora, Nordstrom, and Amazon.

Side note: if you haven’t signed up for Rakuten, I highly recommend it. This site is a bit like Ibotta, in that you get rebates for shopping at stores you’d shop at anyway, but a lot of the rebates are even better.
