Neiman Marcus’ May Sale
I love Neiman Marcus’ women’s clothing selection. They have a ton of great brands and always get cool new pieces in early in the season. Between now and 5/10/19, Neiman Marcus is having a deal where, if you spend more than $200, you earn a $50+ gift card with the code “MAYGC“. It’s a tiered scale, so if you spend $200, you get $50 back; if you spend $500, you get $150 back, etc. You can read the full details here.
Sales like this are my favorite for picking up higher priced staples, so of course I checked it out. I always check with my favorite brands first — namely, Frank & Eileen, Rag & Bone, and Frame. Here are my favorites from each:
Frank & Eileen Favorites
Eileen Long-Sleeve Button-Front Shirt, $228
This long sleeved, billowing silhouette is a Frank & Eileen staple. I really regret not buying the black version when it was on sale a few weeks back.
These button-downs are super flattering, easy to dress up or down, and pretty low maintenance. They’re expensive, sure, but so comfy and high quality that you’ll want to just live in them. Plus, if you buy one of these, you hit the sale’s $200 threshold in one fell swoop.
P.S. Neiman Marcus’ women’s clothing section has a great selection of Frank & Eileen that isn’t included in the sale but is still worth a look.
Zip-Front Triple Fleece Crop Hoodie Jacket,$288.00
This zip-up hoodie is pretty close to the style I listed as a hoodie I am currently coveting, so I’m finding it really tempting.
This hoodie has a cute and effortless-looking design, with a pop of gold in the zipper that really levels up the style. It’d be easy to throw on with jeans and a t-shirt, as the model in the product photo shows, or with something a little dressier.

Rag & Bone Favorites
Hudson Heathered V-Neck Tank, $115.00
I have this top in the gray heather and love it (I bought it during the sale where I passed up the black Frank & Eileen button down I mentioned before). Rag & Bone has the best heather colors, and the stretchy-but-not-clingy fabric they use is just the best. This tank is comfy, flattering, and easy to care for — throw it in the washer, hang it to dry, you’re good to go.

Rag & Bone Graphic T-Shirts, $105.00+
Rag & Bone, I have relatively recently discovered, makes a great t-shirt. The fabric is a bit like the Madewell/J.Crew whisper cotton that I like, but feels a little sturdier. However, the Rag & Bone tees can be a bit pricy. I try to catch them when they are on sale or promo.
I’ve been eyeing the white and floral stitch Flower Cluster Crewneck Short-Sleeve Tee for some time. I guess it’s pretty popular because it has resisted going on sale for a while, it seems. I haven’t seen the Julien Striped Tee in person, but I love the rich colors and detail on the collar.
Striped Linen Short-Sleeve Tee, $105.00, and Striped Army Tank, $95.00
This tee is an absolute favorite of mine. I have this top in two colors, and also splurged on a tank version of it, as well. They’re low maintenance, easy to style, and wash well (hang to dry). The black and white striped tee is available now through the May sale, as well as the tank option.
Smocked Scoop-Neck Tank, $245.00
This scoop-neck tank keeps catching my eye. I love the subtle stripes in the fabric, and the billowy-yet-structured silhouette. The fabric is lightweight, so I think it’d be great for summer. I would pair it with some dark jeans; I think the color contrast would look nice and really make the stripes pop.
